October is National Physical Therapy Month! Did you know the first professional physical therapy association was formed in 1921? Physical Therapists were in great need at this time in the advent of World War II and then again in the 1940s and 1950s with the nationwide polio epidemic. The role of a Physical Therapy has greatly evolved since; with therapists treating a vast variety of diagnosis and playing a key role in aiding in pain reduction and restoration of function for people all over the world. This month in honor of Physical Therapy month we are listing some of Advanced PT’s very own therapist’s favorite healthy recipes.
