Hi! I’m Donna Newman. I deeply believe that physical therapy is not only a rewarding profession, but that it is my calling. I have dedicated my entire professional career to helping people recover after medical setbacks. I approach my patients with the same concern and dedication that I would my family.
I graduated from the University of Kansas School of Physical Therapy in 1984 and returned to earn my Doctorate in Physical Therapy Degree in 2013. Advanced Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation was born in May,1989 in Overland Park, Kansas, from my desire to see people feel better. We have expanded our locations to spread the good news and work of Advanced PT, to meet more peoples needs. We have 4 convenient locations in the KC metro area, in Kansas City North, Missouri, Liberty, Missouri, Blue Springs, Missouri and our Overland Park, Kansas location.
By appointment from the Governor of Missouri in 1994, I served two years on the Advisory Board to the State Board of Healing Arts for Physical Therapy.
My “A” Team and I share the same philosophy for patient care. These dedicated professionals approach all patient treatments with compassion, the best medical knowledge available, and the utmost commitment to seeing our patients return to an active lifestyle, sprinkled with some fun!
